Health technology in 2026 is not just evolving; it is revolutionizing how we track and manage our health in the 21st century. At the vanguard of this innovation is AI, wearable devices, and personalization in how we interact with the medical community at large and our own health.

Today, we’ll take a look at some of the most exciting health innovations of 2026, many of which premiered at the Consumer Technology Showcase, otherwise known as the CES conference, the world’s largest technology show. From devices that help with perimenopause to AI innovations, we’ll look into what digital health innovations are in store for the coming years.

A Wearable Device for Perimenopause Insights

Peri is a device that sticks to the torso that is designed to track and understand perimenopausal symptoms. Perimenopause is the phase before menopause that often includes uncomfortable body changes, like hot flashes and anxiety.

Peri is similar to other fitness trackers but sticks to the torso and collects information on sleep, anxiety, temperature, and more, then sends the information to an app which provides helpful insights.

A Device To Make Menstruation More Comfortable

This device, called OhmBody, is a wearable that may make menstruation less painful for some people. It targets nerves associated with the menstrual cycle and may help reduce the cramps associated with menstruation. The device is adjustable.

“By attaching near the ear, the device targets the auricular branches of the trigeminal and vagus nerves to regulate menstrual cycle symptoms and help the body return to a rested state,” the article states.

A Pocket Laboratory To Detect Food Allergies

A new device called Allergen Alert can help people detect the culprits of some serious and potentially life-threatening food allergies. The device functions as a “mini lab” that allows users to test their food for gluten and dairy.

It’s particularly innovative because it allows users to test their food right before eating, so they don’t have to rely on nutrition labels or staff at restaurants.

Understand Longevity With Biomarkers

Body Scan 2 is a scale-like device that allows owners to step on it, which triggers a full-body scan in approximately 90 seconds. The scan analyzes more than 60 biomarkers like heartrate, body fat, glycemic indicators, and more.

This device allows users to monitor long-term health trends so they can acquire further scanning or see a doctor if something is out of balance.

A Companion To AI Living

Samsung has a vision for everyday living that is accompanied and enhanced with artificial intelligence. It predicted many new technologies at the conference, but the Care Companion zone demonstrated how AI may contribute to a healthier, safer life.

“Samsung Health is continuing to improve sleep environments by controlling air conditioners, air purifiers, lighting and sensors. A brain health training program for users concerned with cognitive health was also showcased. Other features of the health platform include analyzing health metrics through connected devices to help identify potential signs of chronic conditions, as well as exercise and sleep coaching and recipe recommendations based on ingredients in connected refrigerators.”

AI Is Becoming a Core Part of Consumer Health Innovation

According to writer Grace Harmon, AI is becoming a core part of consumer health innovation. Concerning the 2026 CES showcase, she argues that this year’s event has a stronger focus on health products compared to past events.

“While last year’s biggest trend was AI glasses and wearables, this year’s event seems to have a greater focus on AI-powered health products,” Harmon writes. “Within the health and wellness vertical, brands are leaning heavily into automation and AI-generated insights to make care more accessible, personalized, and continuous.”

Can a 30 Second Selfie Predict Future Health?

Can a 30 second photo standing in front of your mirror predict future health and longevity? NuraLogix thinks so. Using AI, this new wellness device uses a 30 second facial scan to predict future health. The device uses blood flow patterns that reflect a number of health risks, such as cardiovascular risks, stress, and other metrics.

From this data, users receive personalized health recommendations that can help them sleep better, eat better, and much more.

“NuraLogix says its mirror, ‘uses advanced AI models trained on hundreds of thousands of patient records, the system can estimate multi-year health risks up to 20 years into the future, helping users understand not just how they are today, but where their current health trajectory is heading.’”
