Heart & cardiovascular3 tests
Cholesterol (lipid) panel: Measures total cholesterol, LDL, HDL and triglycerides. It shows how your body carries and processes fats, which is closely tied to heart health.
Apolipoprotein B (ApoB): Counts the particles that carry cholesterol into your artery walls, where plaque can build up. It’s considered a stronger predictor of cardiovascular risk than LDL cholesterol alone.
High-sensitivity CRP (hs-CRP): Detects low levels of inflammation that standard tests can miss. Ongoing inflammation is linked to plaque buildup and higher risk of heart attack and stroke.

Metabolism & blood sugar3 tests
Hemoglobin A1c (HbA1c): Shows your average blood sugar over the past two to three months. It’s a helpful view of how well your body regulates glucose, beyond a single day’s reading.
Fasting insulin: Measures how much insulin your body needs to keep blood sugar steady after a fast. Rising insulin may point to early insulin resistance, often years before blood sugar or A1c move out of range.
Glucose and electrolytes (part of CMP): A snapshot of your blood sugar right now, plus the minerals that keep your fluids, nerves and muscles working properly.
Organ function1 panel
Comprehensive Metabolic Panel (CMP): Checks markers related to how your liver and kidneys are working, along with blood sugar and electrolyte balance.
Hormones & thyroid1-3 tests
Thyroid function (TSH): Shows how well your thyroid is working. Your thyroid helps control metabolism, energy and weight.
Total testosterone (Men’s panel): Measures your overall testosterone level. Low levels can be linked to low energy, reduced sex drive, erectile problems and loss of muscle mass.
Prostate-specific antigen, PSA (Men’s panel): Measures a protein made by the prostate. It gives insight into prostate health and is useful to track over time.
Energy & nutrients3-4 tests
Vitamin D: Checks for low or high levels. Vitamin D supports bone strength, calcium absorption and immune function.
Vitamin B12: B12 is essential for energy, red blood cell production and nerve health. Low levels can cause fatigue and other symptoms.
Ferritin: Measures your body’s stored iron. Low ferritin is one of the most common causes of fatigue and can show up before other iron markers change.
Iron and total iron binding capacity (Women’s panel): Shows how your body is absorbing, storing and using iron.

Do I need a doctor's order or referral?

No. You can book directly with us. Every result is reviewed by our medical director.

Yes, please fast for 12 hours before your draw. Water is fine. Men should book between 8 and 10am, when testosterone levels are most accurately measured. Women can book any time during office hours

The blood panel is cash pay, $249, so we don’t bill insurance. You can use your HSA or FSA card.

Results take about 7 days and arrive through your patient portal and by email. Our medical director reviews every result. If anything needs attention, they’ll call you to talk it through.

You won’t be left on your own. If your results need attention, our medical director will call you to explain what they mean and discuss next steps. That may include following up with your primary care doctor.

Yes. Your results are yours. Download them from the patient portal and bring them to any provider.

Many people test once a year to track changes over time. Our medical director may suggest a different schedule based on your results.

Some markers matter more for one sex. Men’s panels include PSA and testosterone. Women’s panels include iron and iron binding capacity, since low iron is especially common in women.
